Current spread: TCU -2.5, O/U 49
All-time series: TCU 2-0
A star RB. A versatile QB. Two strong defenses. Something has to give in this game. They say defense wins games, but that theory may not hold true here. The key to this game might be turnovers and/or special teams play.
KJ Costello (1,361-11-20) looks to be the guy under center for Stanford. He’ll rely heavily on WR JJ Arcega-Whiteside (43-720-6). But this offense is centered around RB Bryce Love. What a season he had. 1,973 yards, 17 TDs. And he missed a game. I’m not sure any defense can stop him. He’ll be fun to watch at the next level.
TCU will give the ball to Kenny Hill (2,838-21-6). He showed more consistency this season than he did in years past. John Diarse (33-543-3) and Jalen Reagor (28-407-7) will be counted on heavily in this game. Darius Anderson (768-8) provides a solid ground attack for TCU.
I feel that Bryce Love will want to go out in style. With that in mind, I like Stanford and the points. Defense will be a key, so a slight lean towards the under, in my opinion. But either way, enjoy watching Bryce Love play college ball one more time.
